Welcome to the home of Bridgewater BookFest (our online “home”, that is)!

BookFest 2012 – A Celebration of Reading, Writing and the Arts – will take place on Friday, Sept. 14, from 7-10 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to  4 p.m., in the charming and historic town of Bridgewater, Pa.  This year, in addition to highlighting some of the region’s best local authors, we’re also going to be celebrating the other arts—music, dance, drawing, painting, photography, and more!

The Friday Night Block Party is a new addition to the festival, and will feature an open group African dance lesson led by Becky Bickford, live drumming with Bryan Fazio and others, and music by Rick Gilbert. The block party is open to the public and will take place in the BookFest Authors Tent.

The Main Event on Saturday will feature our Authors’ Tent (last year we had over 30 authors!), our popular Children’s Tent (sponsored by PA Cyber) with plenty of activities for the little ones, author talks, music on the street, and of course, a variety of food and retail vendors.
